Re: Taboo subject
Tue, May 15, 2007 - 8:22 PMas an older person in a world of younger ones, i often feel invisible or left out... so I thought I'd bring up the subject.. it's not taboo in the usual sense of the word, but I do think older age is something we don't always talk about... -

Mon, July 2, 2007 - 4:00 PMyeah, as the power groups/spending groups reach their middle ages, then the societal standards will age as well... i'm surprised that you feel left out! 50 is definitely the new 30... well, for men anyway

Re: Taboo subject

Re: Taboo subject
Wed, July 4, 2007 - 7:16 PMDoes that mean 30 is the new 20? That might explain why so many middle-aged men are playing video games... LOL -

Re: Taboo subject
Wed, July 4, 2007 - 7:56 PMyes 30 is the new 20
and yes video games are not for kids anymore. those who grew up with them now enjoy adult video games, that have violence and suggestive sex and stuff. -

Re: Taboo subject
Wed, July 4, 2007 - 10:21 PMI've never understood the video game craze. I remember when "Pong" came out. I thought that was nifty enough. [shrug]
So 30 is the new 20? Is that why there are so many young people still living with Mom and Pop? -

Re: Taboo subject
Tue, July 10, 2007 - 1:28 PMwait wait. if 50 is the new 30 then a 21 year old would be like.. 1.
which would explain why I have so much trouble with them as a bartender. lol that explains a lot!
