Your Enneagram, Myers-Briggs type

So, Cancers, I would like to know: Where do you fit in these other two personality systems?

I'm a "9" (Enneagram), and an INFP (Myers-Briggs).

What are you?

    Hi!,

    I'm a Scorpio, but my Moon is in the 1st house, which makes me more Cancerean than your average crab:

    I'm also an INFP - Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving

    "The Idealist"

    focused internally, according to feelings and value systems, highly intuitive and guided by intuition, humanitarian, primary goal is to find a truth, meaning, and purpose underlying all things, idealists and perfectionists, hard on themselves, thoughtful and considerate, good listeners and put people at ease, reserved in expressing emotion, they have a very deep well of caring and are genuinely interested in understanding people, a sincere and valued friend and confidante, can be quite warm with people he or she knows well, avoids conflict, but make very good mediators, good at solving other people's conflicts, because they intuitively understand others perspectives and feelings, and genuinely want to help, often found counseling or teaching, flexible and laid-back, but if their value system is threatened, INFPs can become aggressive defenders, fighting passionately for their cause, although they are not detail-oriented individuals, they will cover every possible detail with determination and vigor when working for their "cause", typically unaware of mundane details of life maintenance, might go for long periods without noticing a stain on the carpet, but carefully and meticulously brush a speck of dust off of their favorite book, avoid impersonal analysis, although quite logical, needs to balance ideals with the requirements of living, may become confused and paralyzed about what to do with their lives, may be awkward expressing themselves verbally, but have a wonderful ability to define and express what they're feeling on paper, INFPs who function in their well-developed sides can accomplish great and wonderful things, which they will rarely give themselves credit for, some of the great humanistic catalysts in the world have been INFP

    OMG, I think you may have just quite literally saved my marriage. I've known the Meyer's Briggs for so long, I became sort of desenditized to what it means, but the Enneagram...holy cow, if it were any more spot on I'd have to sprout wings and start chasing bugs.

    INFP, Type 4

    If I can just get my wife to at least TAKE the damned things (if they are even available in Chinese), then at LEAST there is a prayer for an ability to come to some understanding...

    ...errr, pardon the TMI....rough week...

    INFP (Myers-Briggs) and Enneagram 4-5.

    If you look at my chart it's:
    Sun = Cancer - 9th house
    Rising = Libra
    Moon = Capricorn - 4th house
    Mercury = Cancer - 10th house
    Venus = Leo - 11th house
    Mars = Libra - 1st house
    Jupiter = Leo - 10th house

    Kinda makes that Romantic/Thinker tie mixed with the INFP make sense...I'm a hard headed idealist! ;-)

    I'm a 2 -The Helper and that was right on target.

    My Mysers-Briggs test was ESFJ - Extrovert, Sensing, Feeling and Judging with the first three being moderate in the 50's% and Judging mild at 20%.

      first time i took the Enneagram, i was tied with four sixes...2, 4, 6, and 9. Healer, Artist, Skeptic, and Peacemaker. Then i changed one answer, and came out with seven in Healer. Though scattershot, all those apply, lol.

      INFJ - Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging. emphasis on the feeling, and learning to trust the intuition.
